What it does try to do, and what it completely succeeds at, is entertaining the viewer. Many of the actors (I'm looking at you, Chace Crawford) are hilariously bad, their stiff performances almost unbearable.I also find Serena and Nate to be incredibly bland, one-dimensional characters.Blair Waldorf is Serena's best friend but it's always about Serena not Blair.
